Luke is 5!

Luke turned 5 on June 14th.  We had a small party and didn't invite anyone over this year.  I made his cake small and simple, so there would be no leftovers!  Luke is excited to be 5 because now he gets to go to the "big school"!

I had no idea what to get her for her birthday.  She is obsessed with animals, so I got her a kitten.  This is to add to our collection of animals: 1 dog, 1 cat, 2 pygmy goats, 9 chickens, and now a kitten!  He's feisty and will be going outside as soon as he can defend himself.

Luke's Pre-K Graduation

Luke completed his first year of school.  They had graduation on May 26th.  It was kind of funny that they made such a big deal out of it, but it was cute.  I admittedly did have to hold back the tears.

Soccer!

Luke decided he wanted to play soccer this year.  We signed him up at the "Y".  At least he knows that he never wants to play again.  Now he wants to play baseball.  I guess we'll have to see if he likes that or not!
